I'm delighted to welcome you to our school and I trust this web site will give you an insight into Tarrington’s unique character. Tarrington Lutheran School is a small, vibrant school in the Western Districts of Victoria, where quality teaching and learning is enhanced by the family atmosphere, created by a caring community. Tarrington Lutheran School has been operating since 1853 which makes it the oldest continuous Lutheran school in Australia. An education at Tarrington Lutheran School gives students the opportunity to grow in confidence and intellect and develop values, taught within the context of a Christian community. Choosing a school for your daughter or son is one of the most important decisions that you will ever make. Because a good education in their formative years is one of the greatest gifts that you can give your children, it is vital that their primary school years are anchored in an educational environment where commitment to the individual is paramount. The students here have the opportunity to grow academically, physically, socially and spiritually in beautiful surrounds. Assisting all students to develop strong Literacy and Numeracy skills and catering for the individual with Learning Support and Enrichment programs is a major focus for Tarrington staff. Your interest in the many opportunities that the Tarrington Lutheran School has to offer is welcome and you are invited to visit the School for a tour of the facilities and to meet the committed staff team and the students.
